Charlotte County Speedway known to most as "The house that LeRoy built" was open in late 1990. Home to many local hometown favorites such as Randy Fox, Rusty Hillman, Joe Gentry and many more. This place having been called everything from Charlotte Co. Speedway, Charlotte County Motorsports, Punta Gorda Speedway and now 417 Southern Speedway has always put on a heck of a show and the fans flock to it. We have created this page for those that have loved it, hated it and still continue to make laps at the famed oval.
